Spring is coming to an end and with it most of the pollen. Thankfully, I don’t suffer tremendously from allergies like many people do. Still, I still sneeze and get itchy, watery eyes and a runny nose from time to time.
Ahhhh …… But there is so much more to spring than pollen and sneezing. Who could imagine spring without the flowers? The fields are full of them. Flowers that no one but God planted. And some of them are astounding!
All of these photos were taken within a few miles of my house, most of them right beside the road. Click on the photos to see the gallery.
1The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad;
the desert shall rejoice and blossom like the crocus;
2 it shall blossom abundantly
and rejoice with joy and singing.
The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it,
the majesty of Carmel and Sharon.
They shall see the glory of the Lord,
the majesty of our God.
Aren’t you amazed at how creative God can be? He tosses a plant into a field and tells it to run wild. It multiplies and covers the field with a thick carpet of green, then it raises its head and bursts forth in magnificent color.
Have a mug? Fill it with something hot and delicious and take a walk or a ride through the countryside. Enjoy the colors!
